The Mill Bay experience
February 1st - March 31st
During this time of the year our winter and early spring fishery is very consistent for chinook salmon. Fishing the protected waters of the Saanich Inlet and in and around the Sansum Narrows is very pleasurable. Dropping a couple of prawn and crab traps during scheduled openings can bring a great bonus to the days catch.
Harbour Seals, Sea lions and Bald Eagle sightings are frequent at this time of year.
The Port Renfrew experience
April 15th - September 10th
The bulk of the season is carried out on famed and highly touted Port Renfrew waters with daily charters making the run off shore to world renowned salmon Mecca the Swiftsure Banks. Waters that teem with bait balls as far as the eye can see! Hungry migrating salmon provide endless action as well as unparalleled bottom fishing for plentiful pacific halibut. Full limits are the norm during these excursions. Humpback whales, Orcas, Sea lions, Harbour seals, Sea otters and Eagles are regularly witnessed in the area.

Full Day - 8 hour charter $900+gst

Harvest Charter - Saanich inlet cruise to pull prawn and crab traps. Duration of charter is approximately 2.5 hours. $500+gst

$1600/day + gst
From 1-4 guests.
Additional $100 per guest up to a total of 5.

*Fish processing available for your catch by a local company providing commercial vacuum packaging and flash freezing for overnight guests.
